TELCOR QML® has connectivity for more than 160 device types. Whether you are looking to add new testing on devices already in use, add a new device to your POC program, or expand testing to include ambulatory locations, we can help.
We are dedicated to connecting all POC testing, and will communicate new connectivity and enhancements as they become available.
TELCOR adheres to a beta release process providing our customers with the best outcomes when implementing new device types. Our dedicated Beta Implementation Manager works closely with the first customers implementing each device type to ensure all features and functionality perform as expected before we release to our entire customer population.
NanoEntek FREND™
The FREND System is a quantitative immunoassay analyzing instrument that utilizes disposable cartridges to provide in vitro diagnostic results for COVID-19, SARS, PSA, Free T4, Testosterone, TSH and Vitamin D.
The FREND connects to QML through its serial port and a Lantronix UDS 2100. Communication is Uni-directional; the instrument sends patient and EQC data to QML.
QuidelOrtho™ VITROS® XT 3400
The Vitros XT 3400 Chemistry System is a floor-model analyzer that performs clinical chemistry testing using Vitros Microslides and requires only small sample volumes.
The Vitros XT 3400 connects to QML through its network port. Communication is Uni-directional; the instrument sends both patient and quality control (QC) data to QML.
The following updates were released in the third quarter. While some updates require a QML upgrade, most TELCOR device connectivity updates have little to no interruption of connectivity for these device types. Contact TELCOR Support (POCTSupport@telcor.com or 866-489-1207) for more details.
Siemens Healthineers epoc® Blood Analysis System
A new option is now available to send critical comments for epoc results to LIS/EMR directly following the associated test result. Results are considered critical when they are received with HH or LL flags.
Sysmex
New tests, disposables, and configurations were added for support of the Sysmex XQ platform.
Werfen GEM® Premier™ Analyzers
Results for the test Notify Time are received in QML as a numeric string, e.g., 0113. When a numeric string is sent to the LIS/EMR, leading zeroes are removed, making it difficult to recognize the result as a time value. This update adds a new option to import Notify Time results with colons separating the hours, minutes, and seconds.
You can now choose to send the GEM 4A flag description in an NTE segment whenever a test result includes a 4A flag. This enhancement allows you to transmit all results to the LIS/EMR for a sample while clearly indicating which specific results are invalid.
Stay tuned for the beta release of TELCOR device connectivity for these device types this year.
iLine® microINR
The iLine Microsystems microINR Expert meter is a handheld coagulometer, performing PT/INR for monitoring anticoagulation therapy. The device supports connectivity through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or external Ethernet adapter (available separately).
The microINR instrument connects to QML through its network port. Communication with QML is Bi-directional. QML sends operator list, patient list and set date/time to the instrument. The instrument sends patient, quality control (QC) and EQC data to QML.
