TELCOR QML® has connectivity for more than 160 device types. Whether you are looking to add new testing on devices already in use, add a new device to your POC program, or expand testing to include ambulatory locations, we can help.
We are dedicated to connecting all POC testing, and will communicate new connectivity and enhancements as they become available.
The following device type connectivity is live and available to all TELCOR customers. Device tips are published on our portal for your review. Purchase of the device type and the prerequisite QML version outlined below are required to start a project.
Per Werfen, the GEM Premier 7000 analyzes whole blood for blood gases, co-oximetry, basic chemistries, and hematocrits with an optional coagulation module. The GEM 7000 sends data to and receives data from QML through its network port and does not require any additional software or hardware to communicate.
This connectivity includes:
Implementation of GEM 7000 requires a TELCOR GEM HL7 connectivity module update.
TELCOR adheres to a beta release process that allows our customers the best outcomes when implementing new device types. Our dedicated Beta Implementation Manager works closely with the first customers implementing each device type to ensure all features and functionality perform as expected before we release to our entire customer population.
Note: These enhancements apply only to KF devices.
A TELCOR connectivity module update is required to support this enhancement.
Per QuidelOrtho, the Solana performs molecular testing by helicase-dependent amplification to detect multiple diseases and conditions.
This connectivity includes patient and AQC results.
Implementation of Solana requires installation of a new connectivity module.
The following enhancements have been released in the last quarter. Some enhancements require a QML upgrade, but most TELCOR connectivity module updates are as simple as a 5-minute downtime to stop and restart the connectivity module or no downtime at all. Contact the TELCOR support hotline for more details.
No QML upgrade is required to support this enhancement, but DE version 2.11 or higher is required.

Stay tuned for the beta release of TELCOR connectivity for these devices this year.
Connectivity changes to support new KA and KD device firmware will be released this Winter. These changes include:
TELCOR will be releasing connectivity for BioFire FilmArray into beta soon. This connectivity includes patient and QC results and implementation of it requires installation of a new connectivity module.
TELCOR will be releasing connectivity for the Savanna into beta soon. This connectivity includes patient and QC results, set date/time, and operator lists. The implementation of Savanna requires installation of a new connectivity module.
Changing the location assignment for a device in QML is easy, but can cause trouble if you miss even one small detail.
